My Science Fiction Novel Kickstarter Project Was Successful!

Five years after writing my first blog post about the start of my first novel, I'm finally ready to go out on a limb and self-publish one of my works. I'm using Kickstarter to raise funds for hiring an awesome editor and top-notch visual talent.

Here's a quick synopsis of my story: In a nutshell, Mechalarum is kind of like "Iron Man meets Avatar meets Mad Max, with some Boderlands 2 thrown in for good measure." The Scientists of the Citadel build flying suits that are a mix of organic and mechanical, genetically matched to their hosts for absolute control.One day the mysterious Losh approach, and the Council argues over whether to reveal themselves. Kiellen, the heroine decides to steal a suit not made to match her and flies off to learn the Losh secrets. Her efforts lead to banishment, and the start of a great journey.
